I’m happy you are here.

Welcome!

Hello, it’s so nice to meet you! My name is Elaine, but you can call me Laney. The most important part of counseling services to me is the therapeutic relationship between the client and the counselor. As we establish a close bond, I promise to meet you where you’re at in this delicate process of emotional and mental healing.

Counseling with me is focused on your comfort, trust, and autonomy. I assure you; you will be in good hands.

I appreciate you taking the time to view my webpage and invite you to explore my professional and personal backgrounds. I look forward to hearing from you!

Services:

  • DEPRESSION

Most people experience some moments of depression, especially after the loss of a loved one, losing a job, struggling with relationships and/or divorce, and other life events that cause sadness. If these feelings persist and are not addressed a person can find themselves stuck in a very negative mind space leading to lack of motivation. Oftentimes this develops into an inability to engage in life ‘s daily activities. Seeking professional help will give you the opportunity to lessen and potentially alleviate these symptoms.

  • ANXIETY

Feelings of anxiety are not uncommon. However, some people experience more intense, longer lasting symptoms that interfere with their functionality on a daily basis. This discomfort can be remedied by counseling services where you can develop coping skills and obtain the support you need to reduce symptoms. Counseling can assist you in obtaining better control of your physical and psychological responses to stressors.

  • LIFE AS WE KNOW IT

Truth be told….life is a challenge! We can find ourselves feeling overwhelmed by our responsibilities, the current state of affairs, and life events. Sometimes you just need someone who can offer support and help you gain a more positive outlook and ways to approach life’s challenges.

  • COUPLES COUNSELING

Struggling with relationships is not an uncommon challenge. Life happens and sometimes one can find that there are both individual and couple adversities that interfere with a loving connection. Most times the breakdown lies in the communication between one another, and each partner is left feeling unheard and unloved. Uncovering the underlying issues and blocks to positive communication can help couples reconnect and find the balance they desire to meet each other’s needs and restore happiness.
